Component Video Splitter

Component video splitter unit is primarily made to split a component video signal from one source to two or more devices with compatible inputs. A built in amplifier will boost the signal to the needed level, to prevent signal loss and picture degradation. Component video is a video signal that has been split into two or more components. It is a type of analog video that is transmitted or stored as three separate signals.

SmartVM offers a wide variety of component video distribution amplifier units (2,4 5,8 component Ports, with or without audio, desktop or rackmount units). These units are offered with RCA or BNC type connectors. Component Video Splitter supports 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p resolutions. These devices with component video have simple plug and play functionality (no software required). Some of these component video distribution amplifier units with audio have VR function that enables use of one power supply for multiple units when cascaded together.
