KVM Splitter is a PC sharing device that allows 2 users to share one computer. Each Keyboard, Mice and Monitor acts as if connected directly to the Computer. That is with user priority principle, this device automatically switches to a console when either user starts to operate the keyboard or mouse.
KVM Splitter also known as Reverse KVM switch allows only one user to be active at one time. Although the second user cannot work at the same time but can view tasks being performed by the first user. There are some PS2 KVM Splitters that offer different modes of control to limit user activity.
