Quad Video Splitter

Quad Screen Splitter is one of the most innovative devices in the KVM industry. This Quad Splitter unit simultaneously displays the video signals from four analog (VGA) or digital (DVI) computers or video sources on a single screen. In addition, these computers can be controlled with just one keyboard and mouse. Quad Video Splitter saves the space and money you would otherwise use for three monitors, three keyboards and three mice. Using several Quad Screen Splitter units allows you to manage a large number of computers can save an enormous amount of space and several workstations. Quad Screen KVM Switch makes it easy to manage more computers simultaneously in less space, permitting faster response times. This Video Screen Splitter / switch can be connected to laptops, Macs, SUN computers with a USB port, PCs, and many others. They support almost all types of computers and operating systems, VGA analog and DVI digital video, USB and PS/2 keyboards and mice. Up to four computers can be connected directly to one Screen Splitter unit and controlled in numerous display modes:

Quad mode for Quad Screen Splitter - In Quad mode, the screen is split into four fields of equal size. Each field displays the entire screen content of a video source or computer. Keyboard and mouse operation can be selected to the field of the corresponding computer.

PIP Mode for Screen Splitter - When the PiP (Picture in Picture) function is activated, up to all three other video sources are displayed on the right-hand side of the full-screen image as thumbnails, allowing them to be monitored simultaneously. Size, position and selection of these thumbnails are customizable. In the new Triple Tile mode, the active channel and the PiPs are automatically resized to display all channels as large as possible without overlap.

Dual mode for Quad Screen Splitter - In Dual mode the left halves of the full screen images from two video sources are displayed side by side at full size. This allows e.g. to read even small written text in full resolution and brilliant quality in each of the left halves.

Full screen mode for video Screen Splitter - In Full screen mode, one of the four video sources is shown at full screen size and maximum resolution. Keyboard and mouse operation automatically switches to the corresponding computer.

Please note that Quad Screen Splitter now has touchscreen support. It is only available for firmware versions that include the configuration option “TOUCHSCREEN-SUPPORT". The initial release includes support for touch screens from the following manufacturers:

Quad Screen Splitter enables the user to use a touchscreen to control and switch between four computers. To control the Quad Screen KVM Switch using a touchscreen, connect the touchscreen to the Switch by connecting the VGA or DVI cable from the Quad Splitter monitor port to the input of the touchscreen. Connect the USB port of the touchscreen to the PIP KVM Switch console USB port.
