Description:
RS232 Extender Cat5 is a low cost hardware solution that will extend your RS232 (serial / DB-9) control up to 1000 meters (3300 feet) using standard Cat5 / Cat5e / Cat6 UTP cable. It provides remote access and control of any RS232 protocol device. The Cat5 RS232 Extender kit consists of a local transmitter and remote receiver, as well as a 5V power supply and serial cable. The RS232 Extender is easy to set up and install. The transmitter and receiver are connected with standard Cat5 cable, which is simple to run and does not create clutter.
