Rack Environment monitoring system (RMS) is an intelligent network component for supervising the environmental and ambient conditions in rack cabinets containing servers, hubs, switches and other vital network equipment.

Rack environment monitoring system (RMS) basic offers components for measuring digital signals, switching mains current and measuring both temperature and humidity. RMS basic Server Environment Monitoring System range is compact and is easily connected via 10BaseT Ethernet. The power is supplied via an external power supply plug. Depending on the model, all switching and measuring statuses can be read out and the switchable outputs can be administered via the integrated web server. Of course, the devices can also be activated via SNMP, which means that the measurement data can be easily recorded via MRTG or similar graphical front ends. RMS basic Server Environment Monitoring System family includes four different devices that can be used to establish different control and measurement scenarios. This Server Rack Monitoring device can be used to scan the temperature and humidity of up to four different sensors.

RMS advanced Server Environment Monitoring System is an intelligent network component for supervising the environmental and ambient conditions in rack cabinets containing servers, hubs, switches and other vital network equipment. RMS can be situated either at your local facility or located externally. The input data is filtered, collated and analyzed in a logical systematic process, which can be configured to meet your personal requirements. If the set parameters are exceeded, alarm signals and/or predefined processes are activated. This Server Rack Monitoring device can be operated using V.24 SNMP, TELNET and/or Web Browser terminals. The private management information base (MIB) of the RMS allows it to be integrated in all commonly available network management systems. RMS advanced Server Environment Monitoring System is completely a stand-alone system (redundant) and autonomous thus guaranteeing safe operation and integrity of your entire IT system. RMS Advanced Server Environment Monitoring System can be used to monitor temperature, humidity, water leaks, intrusion and unauthorized access.
