The Shinybow SB-6130TR Component Video Extender via Cat5 broadcasts video remotely up to 1000 feet away from a component source using inexpensive CAT5e/ CAT6 UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cable. It includes a transmitter and receiver unit. The transmitter connects to your source with component video and the receiver connects to your HDTV component video display. Component extender defines a major advancement beyond using discrete op amps to transmit differential component video signals over CAT5 cable. This component extender via Cat5 works with satellite and cable set-top boxes, DVD players, D-VHS players and all other equipment that is equipped with component video connections.
