Shinybow's SB-6135T Composite Video Extender with digital and stereo audio via Cat5 broadcasts video and audio remotely up to 1000 feet away from a composite source using inexpensive CAT5e or CAT6 UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cable. The set consists of a transmitter and receiver unit (see related products*). The transmitter connects to your source with composite video and digital or stereo audio and the receiver connects to your HDTV composite video display and audio. The composite extender defines a major advancement beyond using discrete op amps to transmit differential composite video signals over CAT5 cable. This composite extender via Cat5 works with satellite and cable set-top boxes, DVD players, D-VHS players and all other equipment that is equipped with composite video connections.
