The VE170R is a Cat5 VGA and Stereo Audio receiver that can be used with several ATEN transmitter devices for sending video and audio over long distances using category 5 or better cable. When connected to the appropriate transmitting device with Cat5e or greater cabling this video and audio extender receiver is a cost effective solution for a variety of video or digital signage applications. This VE170R Cat5 extender receiver can be stationed in a remote location up to 1000 feet or 300 meters away from the video/audio source and is capable of handling video resolutions of 1920x1200@60Hz to 500 feet and 1280x1024@60Hz to 1000 feet.

The VE170R Cat5e Receiver is compatible with other ATEN video devices, including the VS1204T (4 Port) and VS1208T (8 Port) Audio/Video Cat5 Splitters or the VE170T single port transmitter.
